Frank-small

Frank Vander Meulen
Director of Intercultural Studies

Frank & Eleanor taught at New Tribes Mission’s school for missionary children in Panama for two years and then returned to Canada for training to be church planters in Panama. The Lord changed their plans so that they served fifteen years at NTM-Canada’s head office in Durham, Ontario. Frank’s ministries included years in the finance office followed by a blend of general administration, church-relations, member-care, and leadership which included correspondence and visits with missionaries on three continents. They have also been very involved in their local church so that Frank’s twenty years of ministry have consisted of mission work and local church ministry, concurrently. Frank earned a BRE (Christian Ed.) from Tyndale University College, Toronto (1992) and an MDiv (Intercultural Studies) from Heritage Seminary (2014). He plans to begin studies toward a DMin (Missions & Evangelism) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in the summer of 2014. Frank has been married to Eleanor since 1991 and they have three children, Jared, Scott, and Sophia.
